Guest Services Desk
The Guest Services Desk is located on the Exhibit Floor adjacent to The Museum Store. Staff and docents will cheerfully answer any of your questions.
Guest Book
A guest book is located at the Guest Services Desk. We encourage you to register your attendance and peruse the book to see where other guests are visiting from.

Translation Services
The Institute of Texan Cultures can accommodate most language translation requests with advance notice. Please call our Guest Services team at (210) 458-2291 and let us know when you're coming and what interpretive services you will require. We appreciate two weeks' notice.
The Museum Store
The Museum Store at the Institute of Texan Cultures features items that complement its exhibits and special events that celebrate the multiculturalism of Texas.
It is located at the main entrance of the museum.
ATM
An automated teller machine is located in the snack bar in the Lower Gallery. A service fee of $2 is assessed for each transaction.
Baby-Changing Stations
Baby-changing stations are available in the men's and women's restrooms in the Lower Gallery.
First Aid
First aid is available at our security station at the rear of the Lower Gallery.
Lost and Found
Lost items may be turned in to the Guest Services Desk. If an item is not claimed by the end of the day, it will be turned over to our security team. If you lost an item during a previous visit, you may call our Security Desk at (210) 458-2246. Please be prepared to describe the item and when you lost it.
Lost Parents
We encourage children who have lost their parents to wait at the Guest Services Desk. Lost parents may meet their children there.
Photography Policy
With limited exceptions, photography is allowed and encouraged at the Institute of Texan Cultures.
If you forgot your camera, you may purchase a disposable camera at The Museum Store.
