From Austin (I-35 Corridor)

Take I-35 South towards San Antonio (approximately 75 miles). Merge onto I-37 S/US-281 S (via exit number 158B) toward Corpus Christi. Take the Durango Blvd. exit (exit number 140B) toward HemisFair Plaza, Alamodome and the Institute of Texan Cultures. Stay straight to go onto S. Bowie Street and take a right at the light. The Institute of Texan Cultures is on your right.

From Corpus Christi

Take I-37 North towards San Antonio, approximately 142 miles. Exit Durango Blvd. (exit number 140B) and turn left at the light, going under the underpass. The Institute of Texan Cultures is located at the corner on the right.

From Houston

Take I-10 West to San Antonio. Merge onto I-410 North (via exit number 581). Merge left onto I-35 S/US-81 S (via exit number 31) toward San Antonio/Binz-Englemann Road. Merge onto I-37 S/US-281 S via exit number 158B toward Corpus Christi. Take the Durango Blvd. exit (exit number 140B) toward HemisFair Plaza, Alamodome and the Institute of Texan Cultures. Stay straight to go onto S. Bowie Street and take a right at the light. The Institute of Texan Cultures is on your right.

From Laredo

Take I-35 North to San Antonio. Merge onto I-10 E/US-87 S/US-90 E (via exit number 153) toward Houston. Merge onto I-37 N/US-281 N (via exit number 574) toward Johnson City. Take the Durango Blvd. exit (exit number 140B) toward HemisFair Plaza, Alamodome and the Institute of Texan Cultures. Exit Durango Blvd. (exit number 140B) and turn left at the light, going under the underpass. The Institute of Texan Cultures is located at the corner on the right.
