Texans One and All Texans One and All examines the stories and customs of more than 20 of the original cultural groups who settled in Texas. The exhibit conveys the sentiment that it's the people that make Texas the great state that it is. Guests will: New updates: English, Irish, Scottish For the first time since the English, Irish, and Scottish were featured at the museum, the stories of these important groups have been updated and the display areas have a brand new look. The extensive enhancement to the English, Irish, and Scottish sections feature completely rewritten textual components, new photographs and artifacts, giant screens with first-person interpreters portraying historical Texas characters, interactive kiosks with valuable supplementary data, and much more. The English, Irish, and Scottish settlers and their descendants have been important and influential citizens in the history of Texas. They have made a mark on the Texas landscape and play a role in some of the most important events in Texas history. |
